Rule of Thirds

The rule of thirds is all about placing the focus part of an image in the correct place. To do this you need to split your image into thirds. Both vertically and horizontally so that you have 9 parts. You then place the most interesting part of the photo along one of the lines looking across the image.

To show this, I have taken a few photos using the rule of thirds. As you can see the interesting part of the photo is either placed to the right or the left of the photo, You then get the emphases to look along the lines of the focused part of the image.

When looking at these images we are looking from the V of ‘Volvo' Down to the enter were we just about see the O. This is similar to the ‘Dynaudio’ badge.

Again, using the rule of thirds we have made a rectangle remote look more interesting by placing it to the bottom left of the image.
