Here are my urban Landscape Photos. I took these photos at Wrexham Shopping Centre. Although the day was a bit cloudy I have managed to get some very high quality shots though could be used in a magazine to promote the shopping centre and shops.
Please see my A4 Portfolio for my Research for this Task
I took my first photos as soon as we got out of the car in the multi-storey car park. I liked the way the lights were all in rows which gave a great effect on how long and big of a car park it was. I also took the second photo with our car in it, as it is similar to some car broachers that take photos to show the car, and with the parallel lines of the roof and car parking lines to gives great emphases on how small the furthest thing is away, and how grand the closest thing is.

These two images are very good to show the modern and how much architectural engineering has gone into the shopping centre. I have increased the contrast to show the detail between the white and black areas on the second photo.
I like these images as they could be used in the shopping centre leaflet to show of which shops are here, But also could be used on a website or magazine. The first image is my favourite as again I increased the contract which brought the White ‘Bank’ Text and Black Background together. You can see people walking around as well to show how busy the place is.

These Photos show the Debenhams store which is the main shop in this area. Which is wooden outside architectural design, it brings a really nice photo against the water feature. Shooting the photos in landscape gave a bottom to top image and helped show how tall and grand it is in real life.
Again these photos show the modern architectural design to the area, with the curved buildings, and modern railings around the shopping centre. I like the depth of field both of the photos give as it helps show how big the area is
The final photos are showing the area as a whole and the outside road. The high angle shot looking down at the floor, shows the design and setup of shops. Unfortunately the weather was starting to rain and very cloudy but the last bus shelter photo, shows the new road and how clear the bus shelter is.
